Dhruva is an upcoming action thriller starring Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh and Aravind Swami in lead roles. The film is a remake of Tamil hit Thani Oruvan which had Jayam Ravi and Nayanatara in lead roles. Music for this film is composed by Hip-Hop Thamizha and here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The album begins on a high note with title song Dhruva Dhruva sung by Amit Mishra in mellowed vigor. Chandrabose’s highlighting lyrics are quite impressive and the song doesn’t attempt to be loud despite its aura. The pleasant feel is retained effectively by the composer and at the same time maintaining the energy levels. Kudos to Hip-Hop Thamizha for bringing a breezy intro song in style!

Choosa Choosa is a lovely duet sung by Padmalatha with her sweet vocals and the progressive beats do the job perfectly. The song has a feel good impact and moves like a free flowing river with respect to perfect string arrangements. Chandrabose delivers another romantic number with new age twist to it.

Interestingly, a fusion number Pareshanura arrives next with classy vocals of Padmalatha and Vishnu Priya who sing par excellence. However, it is the Telangana slang lyrics by Yadagiri which give the song a brilliant makeover. Perhaps this is the first song in Telugu Film Industry which has the striking balance between Telangana lyrics and classical touches!

The dance number Neethone Dance arrives in style for the finale and the already popular song is quite impressive in the full version as well. The Punjabi rhythm sequence gels flawlessly with the modern beats and the singers Hip-Hop Thamizha and Nikitha Gandhi perform par excellence for this fun number!

Verdict:

Dhruva is an excellent album which delivers in style and experimentation!
