The tradition of coming up with remakes is quite common but truth remains that not all winners of the yesteryears can be remade. Some are masterpieces which can be made only once. However, that doesn’t mean they cannot be taken as an inspiration.
One film that Tollywood is always proud of is Gundamma Katha featuring the great N T Rama Rao and the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Now, it is heard that the Nandamuri clan is planning a movie on the lines of Gundamma Katha.
Sources say they are planning since long but they are now looking at making it as a comedy-love – family treat on the lines of Gundamma Katha. Of course, this would have Harikrishna, Kalyan Ram along with young tiger Jr NTR doing an important cameo. Let us wait for the official announcement though.
