A new trend seems to be emerging now with some of the noted filmmakers targeting the grand epic Mahabharata. With interest in period flicks and historical reaching a new high, the makers are focusing on such products so Mahabharata has come into picture.
Currently, a huge project is being planned starting with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. At the same time, the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli is also planning something. Making the entire Mahabharat as a movie is impossible but every single chapter has enough ammunition to become a big movie.
