Though we take a lot of inspiration from Hollywood we have never adopted their culture of coming up with franchisee movies. Over many decades, Hollywood has come up with many editions of Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Star Wars, Fast And Furious and many more.
The classic among them is the James Bond series but we have never attempted such a thing. However, superstar Mahesh Babu might just be the man for it. His new movie has been named as Spy-Der and this is touted to be a spy thriller with secret agent stuff.
It is a clear cut James bond kind of movie and few analysts say if this genre is to be made in India, Mahesh fits the bill. Taking optimism to a new level, some feel that Spy-der could be the first step for a new kind of James Bond series and Mahesh can be the face of it.
