It is hard for you not to blend your personal beliefs in your work environment and this is more tough if you are in a creative industry like cinema. Most of the times, you tend to see the sentiments of filmmakers being reflected in their films or some scenes.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case with the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. While his films have dealt with the element of Karma, the presence of God etc recently he shared his thoughts in an interview that he is actually an atheist.
To add to that, Rajamouli is reportedly influenced by the philosophy of Ayn Rand who is known for her practical and radical approach towards life and its situations. All in all, after watching his films and increasing our devotional quotient, knowing that Rajamouli is a non-believer sure springs a surprise and a bit of discomfort.
