The moment you hear the word Sarkar you will remember the cult classic made by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma featuring the living legend Amitabh Bachchan. The film created a strong impact on the audience and the society per se.
Now, another Sarkar is coming up but this has no link to the RGV classic. The new movie is called Indu Sarkar and this is being helmed by the bold filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. This is on the backdrop of the Emergency which was declared during 1975-77.
It happened during the regime of Indira Gandhi and the story revolves around the life of a woman during that phase. The first poster of the film was unveiled and it is getting a very good response. The film features Kirti Kulhari of Pink fame in the lead.
