Mahesh Babu who is the handsome hunk of Tollywood came up with an interesting thriller Spyder. Ntr's Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder were planned for the Dussehra release along with Sharwa's Mahanubhavudu. While Jai Lava Kusa stood as a decent hit with a decent talk, Spyder has got mixed kind of reviews.
Spyder stars Mahesh in the role of an Intelligence Officer which was released in both Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously. As the reviews on Spyder are pale, the movie also seems to have collected lesser amounts than expected.
Spyder's worldwide collections on the day of release are marked up to Rs.38 Cr, while Jai Lava Kusa which was released a week ago collected an amount of Rs.48 Cr at the worldwide box office. With such a huge budget, Spyder seems to have failed to reach out the expectations of the audience.
