We have reached yet another weekend and it is time to have a look at what has happened in the week that went by. Well, it appears that the slump phase still continues for Tollywood because the releases which came in with a good amount of promise have turned out to be disappointments at the box office.
Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej came with ‘Jawaan’ and though it got good openings it fizzled out by Monday. Another promising venture was ‘Oxygen’ featuring aggressive star Gopichand but it lost oxygen right on the release day and became a disaster. Vijay Antony’s dubbed treat ‘Indrasena’ also tanked at the box office.
The focus now is on this week’s releases ‘Malli Raava’ featuring Sumanth, ‘Saptagiri LLB’ featuring comedian Saptagiri and a Hyderabadi movie ‘127 B’ helmed by debutante Seshu KMR. The initial reports reveal the same trend is continuing but ‘127 B’ has opened to a hit talk and sizeable collections. Let us wish the coming week brings some good news.
