While thisquite right, there are also times when few movies pick up the heat post their arrival due to word of mouth.
One of the most anticipated movies of the season is ‘Mahanati’, the biopic on the legendary actress Savitri. So far, the movie is being awaited with a lot of hype and expectations but there are also reports that the film has not been able to create a buzz in tier two and tier three markets. It is heard that promotions are hardly happening in those territories.
Whether that is true or not, the analysts say ‘Mahanati’ will not have a problem due to that. As such, once the movie hits the screens, the word of mouth is going to be key and if that sets a positive tone it will eventually spread into these territories. So, it all boils down to how director Nag Ashwin has shaped up this project.
