It is a natural process that whenever a hero’s film fails at the box office, the buyers tend to bring down the buying price for his next movie which hampers the plan of the producers. The stakes are very high in the case of star hero projects and hence the numbers are worked out with a lot of precision. And then there are those directors who come up with smart moves.
The showman of the south Shankar has been making his mark for coming up with larger than life movies and he has scored equally big successes. Now, he is busy with the movie ‘2.0’ featuring Style Samrat Rajnikanth which has been taking ages to complete. The latest update is that the film has been pushed for an April 2019 release.
While the team is saying it is happening due to visual effects and graphics work, another version is also making rounds. Rajini’s recent release ‘Kaala’ has become a disaster which has put the buyers in a panic mode. Shankar feels it is better to take some time for this panic to die down and things would be better when he arrives with ‘2.0’. Let us wish the wait is worth it and Rajini makes up for all the flops.
