Just like how we speak of actors, actresses, directors losing their presence and sheen when they are scoring flops, the same applies to members of the other crafts too. One such department is the song writing and as long as you can get one or two chartbusters from almost every film your career is going to be intact or else it will sink.

In that process, one lyricist went out of the radar for quite a while. He is none other than Anant Sriram and not much was heard from him though he has been penning few songs. But now he has bounced back with one track, it is ‘Inkem inkem inkem kaavale...’ from the movie ‘Geeta Govindam’ featuring the radical stud Vijay Deverakonda.

Anant Sriram’s last notable track was ‘Pachcha bottesinaa…’ from the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ and after that, it is this number from ‘Geeta Govindam’. Many are singing this everywhere and even the business of the film is going to the next level. This reminds us of how lyricist Chandrabose’s song ‘Entha sakkagunnave…’ led to ‘Rangasthalam’s business going at high rate. For now, welcome back Anant Sriram!
