As much as the Telugu Film Industry focuses on providing entertainment to the people in the form of cinema, cricket matches, awards nights and what not, they are also quite sensitive to situations which affect the society. This is one thing that is not often observed in the other industries but the Telugu folks have always led by example.

Now, it has been decided by the industry folks that they are going to do whatever they can in order to help the victims of the Kerala floods. Yet again, the initiative has been titled as ‘Manam Saitham’ and this is being spearheaded by the noted character artiste Kadambari Kiran. This is not the first time such a thing is happening.

When the city of Vizag was shattered by the Hudhud storm, the industry folks came forward with many initiatives to collect money. It involved stuff like having dinner with a celebrity for 1 lakh etc. This time the industry folks are planning for far more aggressive initiatives to ensure they contribute a substantial sum to the people of Kerala. Excellent job folks!
