Since the time the Telugu cinema shifted its base from Chennai to Hyderabad, the only hub known as the base for the cine folks has been the Film Nagar. Even today, if you are walking in that area, you will come across one or the other celebrity once in every twenty to thirty minutes. Now, a similar locality is expected to rise in another state.

We are talking about the state of Andhra Pradesh and recently that government has released a GO catering 316 acres in Vizag for the purpose of developing film studios. There are already reports that Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna is keen to come up with a studio there. Buzz is that the cine folks in Hyderabad were quite keen only if it was the sea facing Vizag.

Now that the green signal has been given, the chances are high that they might come up with something very similar to Film Nagar in Hyderabad. Given the fact that there are few additional sops given there, it would encourage the industry folks to make some sizeable investments. The coming days will give a clear picture.
