As an actor or actress, when you get an award you tend to thank those who were responsible or part of that particular film. However, the towering hunk Daggubati Rana chose to take a different path. He took this as an opportunity to shower some genuine compliments on one man who is good with unique movies.
He is none other than Sankalp Reddy. Apparently, Rana got ‘Best entertainer for the year’ award in the SIIMA event held at Dubai. This was for his performances in the movies ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ ‘Ghazi Attack’ and the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. Sharing his thoughts after receiving the award, he took the name of Sankalp in particular.
He praised Sankalp and recalling that phase he mentioned “When Ghazi’s topic came up, many said what is this Submarine movie? It sounds crazy but Sankalp stuck to his gut conviction and ensured he came up with a good product. He deserves to be appreciated.” What more can a director ask for than appreciation from his artistes.
