Once you hear the word Alludu you are smart enough to know we are referring to the movie ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ and it came into the theatres with a lot of hype and expectations. The film also had great positioning as it entered during the Ganesh festival time with hardly any competition. So, did all this work?
As per the trade pundits, at the end of the first weekend ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ got nearly 16.80 crores share worldwide which was a very good opening. However, things began to change with the arrival of Monday. The entire graph fell down and never got up. With this, the film is expected to become a below average grosser.
The consolation for the makers is, the film has managed to recover near about 75% of the making cost so the buyers might just walk out with minimal damages. Yet, a flop is a flop so it is going to affect the market of Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya who pinned a lot of hopes on this movie. It appears the ‘Alludu’ failed to impress the audience.
