A poster of Mahanati Savitri along with Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was released where Nitya Menen is seen playing Mahanati's role. She is very much apt for the role of Savitri. Initially, she was offered to do 'Mahanati' biopic under the direction of Nag Ashwin but she had rejected it for the reasons well known to her.

With stars like Daggubati Rana, Vidya Balan, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Akkineni hero Sumanth, the movie is already a crazy project which is targeting for Pongal release under the direction of Krish.
