Comedian Yogi Babu has become popular after being part of films Kolamaavu Kokila and Sarkar and he is now one of the most sought after actors of Tamil film industry. He was also seen in Chennai Express and has gained popularity after that film. After receiving accolades for his performance in Sarkar, actor Vijay is gearing up for his 63rd film and he will reunite with actor Vivek after many years.

So the news is that Yogi Babu has been roped in for this project to play another comic role. Yogi worked with Vijay for Mersal and Sarkar too and this will be their third project together. Director Atlee, who worked with Vijay for Theri and Mersal will be directing this film as well and it will be produced by AGS Entertainments banner, who officially revealed the details of the technical crew. AR Rahman is composing music for the film and cinematography will be handled by KG Vishnu of Mersal fame.

This upcoming project will go on floors from January 2019. This is also going to be a commercial entertainer which would be dubbed into other languages too. Sarkar hasn’t seen much collections in Telugu states, but is an average film in Tamil Nadu.
