One of the main reasons why the movie ‘Sreemanthudu’ worked was because of the way superstar Mahesh Babu is shown as a billionaire who comes to a village and adopts it. That kind of earthly etching of his character struck a chord with the audience. Now, the same formula seems to have been adopted once again.

We are talking about the movie ‘Maharshi’ featuring Mahesh as an NRI and the owner of a software company based in the USA. Unit members now reveal the film has its key plotline surrounding a village and Mahesh actually comes from the US to that village with a particular mission. All this happens in the second half.

Helmed by the extravagant director Vamshi Paidipally, the film also has the cute faced hottie Pooja Hegde as the leading lady and another grapevine is, she happens to be the reason why Mahesh comes there. For now, all these are speculations but it does sound quite similar to the plot in ‘Sreemanthudu’. Let us see how this goes.
