Eminent film actor and Padma Shri awardee, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Pawan Kalyan, on Wednesday. On this occasion, Dr. Rajendra Prasad expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy CM for the key role he played in recommending his name for the prestigious Padma Shri award and for standing by him with constant support.

During the meeting, Sri Pawan Kalyan warmly embraced Dr. Rajendra Prasad and felicitated him on the honour. He stated that the Padma Shri conferred on Rajendra Prasad is a matter of great pride not only for the Telugu film industry but also for all Telugu people.

Expressing his joy, Pawan Kalyan said that it was a moment of personal happiness for him to see one of his most admired senior actors receive such a distinguished national honour.

“The humour you create and the performances you deliver through cinema have inspired countless people. This award was long overdue, and it is heartening that you have finally received the recognition you truly deserve,” said Pawan Kalyan.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad, in turn, thanked the Deputy Chief Minister for his encouragement, support, and the backing extended by the government, and expressed his deep appreciation for the honour and affection shown towards him.
