It is one thing to be an acclaimed filmmaker and another to be a trendsetting filmmaker attaining a demigod status. This does sound like something unusual but then the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli has attained the status of God of South Cinema. Arguably, he is also the God of Indian cinema currently but let’s stick to the south for now.

The reason for this great honour is, his last venture ‘Baahubali’ has been creating waves of aftershocks even today. The latest we hear is from Japan. Apparently, Japanese are crazy about comics and they are holding an international Comic-Con festival wherein ‘Baahubali’ characters in animated version are a big hit.

Where is Telugu and where is Japanese but thanks to Rajamouli, even the likes of young rebel star Prabhas and the towering hunk Daggubati Rana are having an immense fan following there? It is heard that both Rana and producer Shobu Yarlagadda are heading to be a part of this comic con. Hats off to Rajamouli for this!!
