An upcoming film 'Sridevi Bungalow', which marks of the debut of popular wink girl & South Sensation Priya Prakash Warrior could be headed for a legal battle as the makers of the movie were sued by legendary female superstar late Sridevi's husband and the Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor.

The main contention of Boney Kapoor is that the makers named and showed the lead role played by Priya as Sridevi and made use of 'Sridevi's death in the bathtub', a scene towards the end of the recently released teaser. The film directed by Prasanth Mambully is touted as the suspense thriller and the trailer has been heavily criticised on social media by Sridevi fans for mocking the memories of their favourite actress. Reacting to the legal notice by Boney Kapoor, the filmmaker said to a portal: " I already informed Boney Kapoor about it.

Sridevi is a common name and my film's lead character also happens to be an actress." It's known that Sridevi fell unconscious, drowned into the bathtub and died in Dubai last year. Her death was most discussed topic last year because of her mysterious death.
