Mega Star Chiranjeevi never promoted his surname Konidela, but Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan followed it. Even Varun Tej didn’t mention Konidela surname anywhere. Though Ram Charan promoted his surname in Vinaya Vidheya Rama as Ram Konidela it is just for dialogue only.

But, why Vaishnav Tej came with his surname ‘Panja’ for his first film? Everyone in the film industry wondered about it. Sources said the ‘Panja’ added to Vaishnav Tej because of Pawan Kalyan’s suggestion. Even Mega Star Chiranjeevi also encouraged Vaishnav about using the surname. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan acted earlier in a film titled Panjaa, in which Sarah Jane Dias romanced with him. But the film has bitten the dust at the box office. So that some of the mega fans are not happy with ‘Panja’ Vaishnav Tej.

Vaishnav Tej is debuting with his first film in the direction of Buchibabu who earlier worked as an assistant to ace director Sukumar.
