Varun is currently enjoying the success of F2- Fun and Frustration. Though Antariksham couldn’t live up to his expectations, the actor managed to cover up space with F2. From Mukundha to F2, the actor has always chosen good scripts to be part of and has done well.

Good, he takes decisions about scripts himself, so that he learns and takes the right decisions. He is now going to be part of a remake film, which will be directed by Harish Shankar, who has made films like Subramanyam for Sale, Gabbar Singh and DJ. We have already reported that there is going to be a Telugu remake of Jigarthanda, a Tamil blockbuster film which is more like a crime-comedy. 

The film is currently in the pre-production stage where the team is scouting for locations. It will begin very soon and the latest news is that Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the tunes for the film. The film will be bankrolled by 14 Reels Entertainments and they have made the news official now.

It is said that the film will have an official launch on January 27 and Varun Tej will be playing the role of Siddharth. If everything goes well, the film is expected to release this summer.
