Having born to a Telugu family, actor Vishal Reddy went on to become a big star in Kollywood and is working for the Tamil cinema as Nadigar Sangam General Secretary. In 2017, he also tried to contest the RK Nagar by-poll but he efforts are wasted as EC declined his candidature. Though most of his movies get dubbed into Telugu from Tamil, he never attempted straight Telugu film.

According to our latest sources- Vishal Reddy, who recently got engaged to Telugu girl Anisha Alla, is expected to will act in a bilingual movie under the direction of maverick filmmaker Teja, who is currently filming 'Sita'. The film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. It is also learnt that the principal shooting of the film begins in October. However, an official announcement is yet to be made regarding this matter. In the meanwhile, the Pandem Kodi star will get married to Anisha.

On another hand, director Teja who opted out of NTR biopic last year has planned a project with actor Venkatesh but it didn't take off. So, in the meantime, he is working on Sita, which has Kajal Aggarwal and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the lead.
