Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s focus is now shifted to South Cinema, as she is busy shuttling between North and South India. Recently Vidya appeared in NTR Kathanayakudu, which is the first part of NTR Biopic, in which she portrayed NTR’s wife Basavatarakam role. Nandamuri Balakrishna played the main lead and Krish directed the film.
On the other hand, Vidya Balan is roped in for another South flick, which is a remake of Bollywood super hit film Pink. Vidya Balan is playing opposite Ajith Kumar in this film. Earlier Vidya Balan did two Malayalam films. One of them was Urumi.
Grapevine is Vidya Balan was approached by maverick director Murugadoss for his next film. Presently Murugadoss is in plans to do a film with Tamil Super Star Rajinikanth, and for this film, Vidya Balan’s name is in consideration. Close sources to Murugadoss revealed that Vidya Balan was roped in for this film as Rajinikanth’s love interest.
A couple of days back, Murugadoss met Rajinikanth and narrated him the story, and it was touted to be a political thriller. All we know that Rajinikanth has political plans and he is preparing to launch his political party soon. So, with Murugadoss film, Rajinikanth may give a straight indication to Tamilnadu voters and as well to his fans.
