The much-awaited teaser of Naga Chaitanya's Majili has dropped on the web a little while ago on occasion of Valentine's day and it's taking the internet by storm. Akkineni couple Chay and Samantha, who delivered their career films like Ye Maaya Chesave and Manam, have collaborated again for the first time after they got married in 2017.

The first thing to mention in the teaser: it presents lead actors in totally different characters which they haven't tried in the past. Majili is about the two phases of the lead actor (Naga Chaitanya), who in the first phase falls for Divanysha Kaushik. And in the second phase, Chaitanya gets married to Samantha and he seems to be a reluctant husband who cannot get over his past. The final dialogue by Posani in the teaser tells more about their characters: "You have proved it that idiots always get good wives".While posting the teaser on his social media page, Naga Chaitanya tweeted: "There is love. There is pain. in life whatever it may be it’s the experiences that keep you progressing." 

Shiva Nirvana, who scored a hit with a sensitive subject like Ninnu Kori, has dealt with this project and got the most happening Tollywood pair to play the lead characters in his film. Featuring the newcomer Divyansha Kaushik as one of leading ladies, ‘Majili’ is being produced by Sahu Garapati & Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner. It's a Gopi Sundar musical and Vishnu Sarma is handling the cinematography part.
