Director Shiva Nirvana of Ninnu Kori fame is directing Majili and we know that already. The film has been wrapped up recently and post-production work is going on in a fast mode. The film also has Divyansha Kaushik as the second leading lady. Majili is one of the most awaited films this summer as Samantha and Chaitanya have teamed up after a long time.

Director Shiva Nirvana took to Twitter to share the character names of both Samantha and Chaitanya and he wrote, “ My admiration to the dedication of @Samanthaprabhu2alias #sravani she makes you laugh, leaves you in tears, shocks you with her unparalleled performance in #Majili April 5 in theatres @Shine_Screens #ThereisloveThereispain” (sic) to which Samantha replied, “happy tears ... Thank you so much Shiva garu.. this is such a pleasant surprise .. so much love ... waiting to wait for April 5th I have so much to say, but will wait.” (sic) Naga Chaitanya too wrote, “True that Shiva ...” (sic)

In another Tweet, he also revealed that Chaitanya Akkineni is playing the role of Poorna and that it is an intense and versatile character.
