Akkineni Nagarjuna has named for promoting awareness of voting in upcoming elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has sent a request to Akkineni Nagarjuna as well as to Malayalam actor Mohanlal via twitter.

Though it is a non-political request by Narendra Modi, many are expressing some doubts about ‘political angle’. Earlier there were some gossips, which revealed that Mohanlal was selected by Narendra Modi to promote Bharatiya Janata Party in Kerala. However, Mohanlal condemned the rumours and said that he will keep distance with politics and he has no interest to join any political party. But, after getting ‘Padabhushan award’, which is one of the highest civilian awards in India, many speculations poured as it is the gift from BJP to Mohanlal.

On the other hand, recently Akkineni Nagarjuna has met with YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and discussed present politics. There are some speculations, especially from Telugu Desam Party, which says that YSRCP and BJP join hands for upcoming elections. So, can we believe that Akkineni Nagarjuna is indirectly associated to BJP? PM Narendra Modi’s request for Mohanlal and Nagarjuna has political interest?

Meanwhile, close sources from Nagarjuna and Mohanlal said that we cannot add any political colour to the present issue, it is a great responsibility to promote awareness of voting.
