The much-awaited RRR press meet happened today and as expected there came many fireworks from the team. While interacting with the scribes, director Rajamouli revealed a surprising element which made him make this Magnum Opus.
We all know that Alluri Seetha Rama Raju was born in 1897 and when he was a teenager, he went away from the house for several years; then came to Andhra Pradesh and started his war against the Britishers. Likewise, Komaram Bheem who was born in 1901 in Adilabad district also abandoned his home in his teenage for several years and after returning back, he too revolted against the Nizams.
The sheer coincidence of going away from the home by the Telugu revolters at the same time attracted our director. Maybe they (Komaram Bheem & Alluri Seetharama Raju) both had met at some place (Delhi as mentioned by the team).
According to the team, this is the fictitious story set in the 1920s about two great Telugu freedom fighters. The movie is planned for the release on July 30, 2020, in 10 languages.
