In the last couple of years, several Bollywood has made an attempt to enter South films and most of them appeared as antagonists. Some of them include Akshay Kumar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vivek Oberoi, Nana Patekar, Rahul Bose and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Now, yet another Bollywood star is rumoured to be following the suit. He is none other than B-town Superstar Shahrukh Khan. The actor is expected to confront Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay in his upcoming film with director Atlee. If it materialises, the audiences of the South will get an opportunity to see an on-screen conflict between Vijay and SRK. Recently, Filmmaker Atlee had a discussion with SRK when the Bollywood star was in Chennai to watch an IPL match between CSK and KKR. Lady Superstar Nayanathara will play the female lead role and AR Rahman will score audio tunes. The film is expected to light screens for Diwali this year.
The yet to be titled film, touted as a sports drama, is expected to project SRK is a well-written role. However, the length of his character is said to be not more than 15 minutes. Currently, the makers are on the scout for locations to shoot SRK's part.
