The Tollywood drugs case is back in the limelight after Padmanabha Reddy of 'Forum for Good Governance' filed an RTI petition seeking an update on the case. In a response sent to Padmanabha Reddy, Exercise Dept did not include the names of industry people who're called for questioning.

Around 62 film personalities were questioned by the police team which's investigating this case, but no legal action was taken against any of them. So, rumours came out that all of them are given a clean chit in the very infamous drugs case. But, in the latest development, Exercise Officials offered a fresh clarification saying none of them received clean chit. 

They further said that a total of 7 charge sheets have been filed so far and 5 more charge sheets will be filed soon in this case. The officials made it clear that whoever is involved in the 'Drugs case' will not be let off the hook.
