The box-office potential of Megastar Chiranjeevi and marketing strategy of producer Ram Charan seems to have attracted Karnataka distributors of 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' to acquire film's theatrical rights by paying a huge price. 

The makers of Sye Raa, Konidela Productions has reportedly closed the deal of Karnataka rights and they reportedly earned a whopping Rs 32 Cr from the sale of theatrical rights for the neighboring state, which is a Non-Baahubali record. It is the highest-ever for a Chiranjeevi's movie and has shattered the actor's previous best 'Khaidi No.150'. The presence of Kicha Sudeep as part of the cast also made this deal much hotter. 

Sye Raa, scheduled to release on October 2, is being directed by Surender Reddy. Other important casts of the film include Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannah, and Jagapathi Babu.
