Yes, the leggy lass is playing the role of Jhansi Laxmibhai, one of the rebellions in freedom fight, in Sye Raa, a historical war drama on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. According to our sources, the story of Sye Raa will be presented from her dimension. And, Anushka will not have an opportunity to share screen space with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Though Sweety will be seen for a short time, her presence will be felt throughout the runtime.
Sye Raa is being directed by Surender Reddy and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is bankrolling the project under Konidela Productions banner. While Nayanthara is playing the main female lead, Milky White beauty Tamannah Bhatia will be seen in a highly crucial role. Sye Raa, which is scheduled for release on October 2nd, will have teaser released on August 22nd, on occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Birthday.
