Netizens have come in support of Sandeep and a hashtag #WeSupoortSandeep has been going viral on the internet. To the comments Samantha has made on the interview, netizens have shared a screenshot where Samantha can be seen praising Arjun Reddy film and have accused her of double standards.

Sam then hit back saying, “Liking the film .. and disagreeing with a comment are two different things. I loved the story of one ‘Arjun Reddy’ .. not the generalization that love means having the liberty of slapping people around."
