We welcome to our weekly blog where we bring to you the list of movies striding into cinemas this week. The lead actors (Ram Pothineni, Vikram and Amala Paul) in three major films of this week essentially require a solid box-office success to prove that they are very much in the game. So, we bring to you the list of films that are going to walk into theatres this week, and you decide who deserve to be rated well.


ISmart Shankar (Telugu): Director Puri Jagannath is betting big on this mass romantic entertainer which is walking into cinemas on 18th July. It is a joint production of Puri & Charmme Kaur and has music by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma. The first look posters and theatrical trailer promise a high voltage mass masala movie, plus an interesting story on how Ram deals with his issue after a chip is inserted into his brain secretly. Two ladies Nidhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh are sure to scorch the screens with their glamour show. 


Mr. KK (Tamil and Telugu): Mr. KK is the dubbed version of Tamil film Kadaram Kondan and it is a film produced by Universal Hero Kamal Haasan and stars extremely talented Vikram, Akshara Haasan in lead roles. Scheduled to release on 19th July, the action thriller is directed by Rajesh Selva and has music by Ghibran. There is no hype about this film in Telugu but it is expected to get a wide release in Tamil Nadu.


Aame (Telugu and Tamil): Aame (dubbed version of Aadai) stars Amala Paul in the lead role. Touted as a thriller, the film presents actress in a bold role and trailer has created a huge buzz among movie buffs. Produced by Viji Subramaniyan, Aame has been censored with an A certificate. Amala, who has gone naked for some scenes, made sure to attract several eyeballs for her movie. Aame is scheduled to walk into cinemas on 19th July.


The Lion King (Telugu & English): The Lion King is one of the most awaited Hollywood films and it is releasing in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. The Lion King (2019) is a live-action adaption of 1994 film of the same name. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film is a musical adventure drama from Walt Disney Productions. Lion King cannot be missed, if you have kids at home who love to watch animated films. Natural Star Nani has dubbed for Simba in Telugu and Ravi Shankar gave his voice for Mufasa.


Jhootha Kahin Ka (Hindi): The romantic comedy-drama is directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Deepak Mukut & Anuj Sharma under Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Shantketan Entertainments banners. The movie stars B-town senior Rishi Kapoor, Jimmy Sheirgill, Lillete Dubey, Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor in key roles. Telugu girl Poojitha Ponnada is also acting in the film.


Family Of Thakurgunj: This social drama also has Jimmy Sheirgill in the lead and Mahie Gill is paired opposite him. The film, directed by Dilip Shukla, is scheduled for release on July 19 and Ajay Kumar Singh has bankrolled it under Lovely World Entertainment banner. There is literally no buzz around this movie as it has no big star in it.
