Director Harish Shankar is back to movies, with a bang, after Duvvada Jagannadham and his fans have been waiting for another pucca mass entertainer from him.


His upcoming film Valmiki is all set to hit the screens on September 20 and he looks pretty confident that the film is going to be a super hit.


“Jigarthanda is a beautiful movie. To remake it in Telugu, we have changed the nativity and minor changes in the script have been done. We have retained most of the originality for the fans. Unlike Gabbar Singh, in which I made many changes to make sure it looks different from Dabanng, this film is going to be,” said Harish.


Also, he said that Pooja Hegde has done a key role in the second half of the story. “Her character is very special and I can’t talk much about it. She looks glamorous and has a lot to do in the second half of the film. So please watch it in the theatres only,” he added.


The film has Atharva Murali, who is making his Telugu debut with this film. It has Mrinalini Ravi also in a lead role.
