After a Disasterous political thriller 'NGK' Hero Surya is getting ready to show up again with 'Kaappan' which is releasing in Telugu as 'Bandobasth'. The movie is slated to release on 20th of this month. 'Lyca Productions' which have earlier produced 'Robo 2.O' kind of big-budget films has now produced this flick. The Film casts Malayalam Superstar 'Mohan Lal', Tamil actor 'Aarya' and 'Akhil' movie fame 'Saayesha'. K V Anand, the director of 'Veedokkade', 'Rangam' has canned this action thriller.
Coming to Telugu Release, it is going to happen on the same day as Varun Tej 'Valmiki' release. N.V.Prasad has got the rights for Bandobasth which he is planning to release on a grand scale. Dil Raju got Nizam Rights, Suresh Babu took Andhra Release whereas N.V.Prasad himself distributing in Ceded Region. It is planned to release like a straight Telugu flick. The story of the film took a one-year-long research work. As per the sources and the recently released trailer seems like the film has got many sub-plots which makes the film a wholesome entertainer.
