Amidst huge hype and high expectations, the film Sye Raa had hit the screens today. The film received mixed reviews national wide from the first day audiences. While a section of first day audience is lauding the film as historical, another section is saying that it has no match with the emotional graph of the magnum opus Bahubali. Yes, the comparison is inevitable as the expectations are so high that it may at least cross the numbers made by Bahubali-The Beginning. 

Well, it requires the film to make a gross collection of Rs 345 Cr to find place in the Top-25 list of Indian cinema. And the same figure keeps the film in Top-5 List of the Telugu cinema. While the recent film Saaho made Rs 400 Cr despite bad to worst reviews, trade pundits say that it is a cake walk to Sye Raa to cross that milestone and make up to Rs 500 Cr to Rs 550 Cr with the kind of response it received.


Looking at the brighter side, this happens to be the longest weekend in many parts of India as it happens to be the Dasara season. The film has no competitor for the next two weeks and that happens to be the most advantageous to mint money at the box office.


The film requires to gross Rs 651 Cr to beat Bahubali-The Beginning. We need to wait and see if that feat becomes possible with this season.
