Actress Priyamani, who is popular for films like Yamadonga and Nava Vasantham is currently busy with super hit web series The Family Man, which is busy with its second season. In this series, she is playing wife to Manoj Bajpayee and a college professor.
As per the latest reports, the actress is all set to play a key role in Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi, which is a biopic on late actress turned politician Jayalalitha. It is said that director AL Vijay has roped in the actress to play Sasikala, a close aide to Jayalalitha in her journey.
It is said that the makers were looking for an actress who is popular in all languages as they want to make the film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Priyamani has become famous in Hindi with Family Man series and so, they have thought that she would be perfect for the role.
Apparently, Priyamani was excited when she was offered the role and so, said yes immediately.
