Bollywood Big Project '83' Postponed Due To COVID-19

After WHO announced Coronavirus as a global pandemic, many films across the world have been postponed. As the Covid-19 continues to prevail, many Bollywood movies have been halted. The latest Bollywood film to get delayed due to coronavirus is '83', a sports drama which narrates former Indian captain Kapil Dev's journey of life.


The film was scheduled to bring the film to theatres on 10 April, but the makers on Friday morning announced it's put on hold. The next course of action will be announced after the condition returns to normal. "We urge our fans to take all the necessary precautions and take care of loved ones," said the producers in an official statement.


The film, which has Ranveer Singh as star cricketer Kapil Dev, features Deepika Padukone as his wife. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film was produced by Vishnu Indukuri, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan jointly. The Telugu version of this Pan India movie is releasing by Annapurna Studios and Tamil version by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films.
