Geetha Arts is one of the most renowned and respected production houses of Tollywood. The leading Telugu banner had always produced or associated with decent films. Even with GA2 Pictures, they're giving preference to family entertainers. Recently, producer Allu Aravind has partnered with few other entrepreneurs to launch the Aha OTT platform. Until now, AHA did not bring in some really exciting content to attract viewers.
But, a web series 'SIN' has landed on the AHA OTT platform. The trailer of this web series has now become a subject of discussion in Tollywood circles because of its bold content. Generally, any web series these days is targeting youth audiences with adult content & Masala stories to cash in on their weakness. In Telugu, it was within the limits so far. Also, AHA did not release any web series with adult content till now. But, SIN makes an exemption to it and the trailer itself filled with full of intimate scenes. It raises doubt about what more the web series has to offer.
The content in the trailer promises to offer a high amount of Masala content to youth. But, is it going to harm Allu's image? Allu family always maintained a clean image and associated with some decent movies. But, OTT is a bit different and they target some selective sections of audiences. That is how the money is made on such platforms. It is a daunting task to attract viewers without adult content on any digital streaming service, so Geetha Arts might have followed this path.
