OTT platforms have now become a huge blessing for the film industry. Given the nationwide lockdown situation wherein theatres are likely to remain closed for few more weeks after May 7, the makers of low budget films are now eagerly looking at OTTs, which are cashing in on the current situation.

Recently, Allu Aravind has launched his own OTT platform 'Aha' and he is hosting some recent superhits on it. Now, the Mega-producer wants to target small and medium budget Telugu films which are ready for release.

Aha is not just buying movies that are ready for release, but also the films which didn't get good attention in the theatres. According to insiders, the Aha streaming service is offering from up to 50 lakhs for each film.

Given the low demand for satellite rights these days, many films didn't get a good deal from TV channels and they went unsold. Producer Allu Aravind is directly calling those producers to crack a deal for movies that failed to attract Television channels. That is how Aha is gathering new content to keep the subscribers glued to their platform.
