While cinema halls remain closed and film shootings are unlikely to start soon, OTT platforms have become a great source of entertainment with their content, films, and web series. Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Netflix, Zee, Sun Nxt, and other streaming services are targetting Telugu films that are ready for release- like 'V', 'Nishabdham', and 'Orey Bujjiga'. According to some internal reports, the OTT deal of 'Nishabdham' has been closed by the makers.

Amazon Prime has agreed to a deal with producers Kona Venkat & Vishwa Prasad to pay a whopping Rs 30 Cr for the digital rights of 'Nishabdham'. If this news is true, it is undoubtedly one of the major deals in Telugu. With stars like Anushka, Madhavan, and Anjali in lead roles, the film is getting dubbed into other regional languages including Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. This development will help gain more viewership on Prime and it could be one of the key reasons why Amazon Prime has invested Rs 30 Cr on this thriller.

Speculation in Film Nagar is rife that 'Nishabdham' will release on Prime before the end of this month. Several other Telugu and Tamil projects are ready to follow the same digital path.
