Director Sukumar earlier produced a couple of movies and he is also associated with the debut film of Mega hero Panja Vaishnav Tej. Titled Uppena, the movie marks the debut of Sukumar's former associate Buchi Babu Sana. As per the reports, Sukumar is highly confident about the success of the film and is extremely satisfied with the final output.


In a partnership with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar turned the producer for the film. After watching the rough version, Sukumar named some suggestions that the makers liked. They worked on them and the final copy is ready now. Sukumar is satisfied with the way the film turned out. He is hopeful of finding a release date once the theatres get re-opened.


Krithi Shetty is a newcomer making her debut as a heroine. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film.
