Surender Reddy is one of the directors who is close to Mega camp. Surender Reddy worked with Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi. The director was supposed to work with Varun Tej for a film under Krish's production. However, the reports reveal that the project might get delayed as Varun is yet to finish his boxing drama.

In the meantime, Surender Reddy is going to test his luck with Ram Pothineni who is yet to sign a new movie after RED. Ram wants to do a family entertainer or a light-hearted drama as his last two films are actioners.

Surender Reddy is now planning to team up with him and prepared a subject. On the other hand, director Maruthi is also planning to do a film with Ram.
