Venu Udugula received a huge appreciation for his debut film 'Needi Naadi Oke Katha'. He has taken up a serious period subject 'Virata Parvam' for his second film. Rana Daggubati, Sai Pallavi, Tabu are playing the key roles in the movie. It is presently one of the eagerly awaited films. In a recent interview, Venu Udugula revealed an interesting thing regarding the hero character.

He said that he has first approached the action hero Gopichand for the hero role. The hero rejected the role citing the call sheets issue. Then Venu approached Rana Daggubati for the same role and he received a green signal immediately. It is quite common in the film industry that heroes miss certain films. We have to wait and see whether it is the right decision or not.

Gopichand is presently working on a commercial entertainer 'Seetimaar'. Tamannah is the heroine. Sampath Nandi is the director.
