Amala Paul is one of the most popular actresses in South India. She was last seen in the female-oriented thriller Aadai. The film also got dubbed into Telugu as Aame. Now, it seems that the actress is focusing on OTT projects. She recently signed her third OTT project which is going to be a web series. 

According to the sources, this will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual web series. The story is set in the 1970s. Amala will portray a bold role in the series. We hear that the shooting of this series will commence very soon. An official announcement will be made in a few weeks. 

Amala already acted in the Telugu remake of Netflix series Lust Stories. Amala's segment is directed by Nandini Reddy. This film will stream by the end of this year. Apart from this, Amala is also acting in the Hindi web series which is inspired by the life of actress Parveen Babi. Mahesh Bhatt is the show-runner of this project.
