Young hero Akhil Akkineni is currently working on 'Most Eligible Bachelor' directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The movie is supposed to hit the screens in the summer itself but the corona pandemic has spoiled the release plans.  The makers are planning to release the film as soon as the theaters are reopened.

Meanwhile, there is an interesting talk going on in the film circles that Akkineni Nagarjuna is planning a superb mass entertainer for Akhil. He has reportedly approached Surender Reddy for directing Akhil as per the information. Nagarjuna is of the opinion that a director like Surender Reddy can turn tables for Akhil because he knows the pulse of mass audience.  

Surender Reddy is yet to announce his next film after 'Sye Raa'.  Though he is trying to make his next film with a star hero, none of them are available as they are all occupied with other commitments.  It seems, teaming up with Akhil is going to be a good choice for his at this juncture.
