Touted to be a romantic drama set in Telangana backdrop, the film's shoot in its final stages. From the last few days, it is being heard that the movie will have a direct OTT release. The latest we hear is that Naga Chaitanya is showing no interest in digital release and wants to wait for the theaters to reopen. 

According to the sources, major streaming platforms have approached the producers of Love Story to buy digital rights. Apparently, the producers are also showing interest in releasing the movie directly on a digital platform. They asked the opinion of Shekhar Kammula. It seems that the director asked for the lead actor's opinion.

When the makers approached Naga Chaitanya, it seems that he asked them to wait for the theaters to reopen. He feels that the success of Love Story will expand his market. Thus, the actor wants to go for a theatrical release at any cost.
