Daughter of Krishna and sister of Superstar Mahesh Babu, Manjula tried her luck with movies like 'Show', 'Kavya's Diary' but failed to create her own identity in the industry.

Even her recent directorial debut, 'Manasuku Nachindi' ended up as a biggest disaster at the box office. Manjula is now saying that she wants to direct a movie with Mahesh Babu as the hero. But, Mahesh Babu is one of the star heroes in Tollywood and it is not. Owing to Manjula's filmography till now, any hero will hesitate to do a movie with her. So, doing a movie with Mahesh Babu is out of her reach? Manjula also knew the same. So, she wants to prove her talent as a director by scoring a superhit film first and then approach his brother.  

"If Manasuku Nachindi movie became a hit, the situation would have been entirely different. Even Mahesh Babu would be ready to do a movie with me," added Manjula.
